Book Description: “Angels aren’t supposed to fall in love, especially with each other. But for the record, you were worth it.”

Grace Tate is a Protection Angel and Vampire Hunter, and she has always followed the rules. But some rules are made to be broken…

Until now the fight against evil has been simple, and falling in love was never part of the plan. So what happens when it’s beyond Grace’s control, and when she least expects it she falls for the wrong person?

All hell breaks loose, that’s what.

At Hopetown Valley High, not everything is as it seems, and the one person Grace thought was her enemy becomes her most important ally.

Blood will be shed, lives will be lost and friendships will be tested. It all comes down to one decision, and when Grace tries to save all those dear to her, she realizes not everyone can be, or wants to be, saved.

INTERVIEW:

Hi Victoria, and thanks for hosting my tour stop today. You have asked me two quite interesting questions.

Is there a theological core at the heart of your writing?

Theological: adjective – Based upon the nature and will of God as revealed to humans.

Fall For Me encompasses the typical struggle between good and evil. I have angels—which I’ve named Angels of the Light—and fallen angels, and then there are the vampires. I was brought up Catholic (but I’m non-practicing), so my writing reflects my understanding of Heaven and Hell with a few twists and changes thrown in for good measure. God doesn’t actually make an appearance in Fall For Me, but there is a Council. I didn’t want to delve into the religious side of things very far because it wasn’t the main focus of my story, but the roots of a theological belief system are there. I’m also a firm believer that you don’t have to practice a religion—be it any religion—to be a good person. The lines of good and evil can become blurred sometimes. Good people are capable of doing bad deeds, and vice versa. The great thing about writing fiction is we can make it whatever we want it to be.

Ask yourself the one question you wish an interviewer would ask you and never does. Then answer it.

What does writing mean to you?

I’ve been asked how I started writing, why I started writing, what I write about, who has influenced me, and the list goes on. What no one has ever asked is: what does writing mean to you? For me it’s a release, a way of getting my dreams and daydreams onto paper. It means I can stay sane in a world that often wants to test my sanity. When I write I get lost in the story and for a while nothing else can touch me. The worlds I create in my stories become my safe havens, and the characters become my friends. Writing is very much a part of who I am. Without it, I wouldn’t be me.
